    Physical Education Philosophy

     

     

               The purpose of the Physical Education program at Manasquan Elementary School is to enable all students to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.  This growth is promoted with the understanding that all children are individuals whose needs and interests must be addressed.  A dedicated staff of physical education teachers will provide educational opportunities to fulfill the needs of each child in a safe environment conducive to learning. 
                Manasquan Elementary School’s physical education program provides its’ students with a diversified curriculum, which embodies the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains.  This curriculum is aligned with national and state curriculum standards.  These offerings are designed to prepare all students to healthfully meet future challenges.
