Topic Maps

Topics maps are provided to allow parents to see the sequence of lessons taught in each grade level on a weekly basis.  These are included for all grade levels.

Resource Documents

In areas where standards have been added, these documents provide parents with access to instructional materials so that they may preview the content of the new lessons.  Because standards are banded for a grade level range, sensitive topics are always done at highest grade level.  Below are the resources associated with the new topics that occur in grades 5 and 8, each at the top of their respective grade band.  These documents contain the materials for these newly incorporated topics.

We have also included links to the gender-specific puberty videos that are used in grade 4.  (Male and female students are separated for these lessons.)

Presentation slides are also included below, where applicable for the new topics that will be used in the health classroom.  These presentation tools, developed from the resource materials, will be used by the teacher to present these lessons in the health classroom.
