    This week we will be having technology week.  Each day you will have a website to go to and different activities to complete there. Feel free to explore the sites and do any other games or activities that you think look like fun!

     

    Monday:  Vocabulary day – Have fun with these vocabulary skill building games!

    Tuesday: Tumble books- please pick a book from the tumble book website to listen to as a read aloud.  When you are finished please complete all activities that go along with your book on the website. 

    NOTE TO PARENTS:I would be mindful when picking a story to listen to. Some of the books are chapter books and very long.  Try to stick to one that is under 10 minutes.  There are also grade levels identified for each book.  I would recommend using one of the books that are listed in the sliding banner at the top of the website. I have provided a link to a story called: OH Crumps by  Lee Bock.  It is appropriate for grade K-3. Feel free to choose a different book if your child finds one that they are interested in.

    Wednesday: WACKY WEB TALES!  Have fun reviewing your grammar and using your knowledge to create a WACKY story to enjoy reading with your family! Pick at least 2 stories from the list.

    Thursday: Writing day- Please use your graphic organizer that you completed last week about an animal of your choosing and create a report about that animal.  This report should be typed into a document and should be in complete sentences.  Please draw me a picture of your animal to accompany your beautiful work of writing! When you are done please have someone at home help you email me your completed report. I cannot wait to see what you have written about!  Yellow Group:  I will be having you present your writing on our MS teams meeting at 10:00 so please have it completed before then.
