Hello and welcome to another fantastic year. My name is Marc Reid. I have been teaching in Manasquan for 14 years and have enjoyed every year of it. I hold both a supervisor and principal certification and have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership (2012).
I graduated New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1994 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. I have taught many levels of mathematics since, from AP Calculus to Basic Skills. I have taught in large and small schools, both public and private. I have found that in all cases a well structured classroom with constant support and a little humor (not a lot) makes for a pleasant and rewarding experience. Currently, I am teaching Math 8 and Algebra.
My hope is to pass my love of mathematics to all those that enter my room. To instill a yearning to learn more and "see" the connections that exist all around us. My door will always be open to my students, both past and present.
