Concert Band

The MES band program is broken down into 3 main groups: First Year Band, Junior Band and Senior Band.

Students 4th grade and above are eligible to start instrument lessons. Our Senior Band is our most advanced group, made up of 6th-8th grade students. Our Junior Band is comprised of 5th and 6th graders who have had at least 1 year of prior band experience. 

New for this year, our groups will be meeting during the school day for band lessons and rehearsals. Students must be enrolled in the band class elective for their grade level in order to participate in band. Before and after school, availability for extra help, audition/ All-Shore prep, etc, is offered by appointment. To set up an appointment, please email Mr. Clark 

Performance opportunities include our Winter and Spring Concerts, Halloween Parade, Sending District Band Concert, Band Day at MHS, and our Dorney Park Concert Festival trip. Advanced students are eligible to audition for the All Shore Intermediate Band as well as participate in the MHS Marching/ Concert Band and MHS Jazz Band.
