Congratulation to our Rocket League Team - on 6/1/21 they became the "2021 Rocket League State Champions"!
Overview:
SquanHS Esports Team is a year-round student-run academic team that provides all interested MHS students a unique and stimulating Esports team experience! Each year, our Esports Team participates in various video game competitions throughout the school year. Student interest determines which games we compete in as well as which competitions we enter. Casual players are also welcome to join us for "friendlies".
We are members of Garden State Esports Scholastic League (GSE) & North American Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF).
Anticipated for 2021-2022:
Interested in joining our team? Current students may complete our SquanHS Esports Team Interest Survey: 2021-2022 school year. You must be logged in with your MHS Microsoft Office 365 Account (school email address and network password). New/transfer students should wait until they've received their school computers to complete the survey.
Tryouts for each season will be held in the 2 weeks prior to the registration deadlines listed below - notification will be posted in both the school announcements and the SquanHS Esports Discord Server. NOTE: To join the SquanHS Esports Discord Server, email Mrs. Edwards from your school email (Outlook - search for Edwards, Amy). She will send you an invitation code to join us!

Esports in education is about more than just gaming! Scholastic esports can be used to create high-quality, student-centered learning experiences that improve students STEM learning outcomes, health & wellbeing, and position students to take advantage of post-secondary opportunities at the collegiate level and lucrative careers in the esports ecosystem.
