• Attention freshman, sophomores, and juniors: Petitions for student council representative and executive board are available outside room 108. After you have your petition signatures it MUST be signed by your parent and grade level advisors. Please see Ms. Marco or Mr. Craig with any questions. Petitions are due May 23rd. They WILL NOT be accepted late.

     

    Attention all MHS students! The sophomore class is hosting a new event on Thursday, May 23rd at 6:30 pm in the gym...the Warrior Games! The contest will consist of teams of teachers and teams of students battling it out for bragging rights in a series of competitions including a free throw contest, relay races, dodgeball, and human Hungry Hippo, just to name a few.  We need six teams of eight students to compete. SPACE IS LIMITED, so register your team with Mrs. Crowning or Mrs. Hillman ASAP! (Each team can be mixed by grade and MUST have both males and females!) Mr. Buss has already agreed to host the games, so you know it will be an entertaining night!

     

    Attention all Seniors: Your senior prom is Friday, June 7, 2019.  If you have misplaced your bid, bids can be obtained from Dr. Puryear in room 114 or from students collecting bids in the cafeteria during lunch periods.  The cost of the prom is $60 for a single bid and $110 for a double bid.  If you would like to attend the senior prom, you need to have the bid totally complete and signed before turning it in.  You must include your cash or check made payable to “MHS Central Fund” when you turn in your bid.  If you would like to bring a non-MHS guest to the junior prom, you must obtain a form to be completed by your guest and approved by our administration before turning in your bid.  The form must accompany the bid, and can be obtained from the students collecting the bids in the cafeteria or from Dr. Puryear in room 114.  Bids will be collected all this week from Monday, May 6th through Tuesday, May 21st in the cafeteria during lunch periods or can be turned in to Dr. Puryear in room 114.

     

    Attention all students who would like to be a part of this year’s Torch Run for the Special Olympics.  Forms are available at the front desk and can be turned in to Mrs. Certo and Mrs. Santucci’s mailboxes no later than Friday, May 17th.   The registration fee is $20, which includes a t-shirt.    The 1-mile run is Friday, June 7th at 7am.  We will meet at designated spot on Rt. 71 in Brielle (usually the old Rella’s).  You will be excused from your block 1 class.  Please support the Special Olympics.  See Mrs. Santucci or Mrs. Certo for more information.

     

     

    The FCA is holding their annual “King of the Court” 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Friday Night, May 17th from 6:00- 8:00pm in the HS gym. Get your team together and see Mr. Freda to sign up today or you can sign up the night of the tournament at 5:45pm. All are welcomed to participate.

    Any graduating senior who is a member of the Fishing Club should see Mr. Freda for Scholarship Applications that are available to apply for from the Reel Seat in Brielle and the Manasquan Fishing Club in town.
