Mr. Murin is a 1991 graduate of the University of Dayton where he earned a B.S. in Mathematics. He is in his twenty-eighth year in education. He spent the first six years of his teaching career at his alma mater, Roselle Catholic High School and the last twenty-one in Manasquan. In 2007, Mr. Murin became the Manasquan School District’s Mathematics Supervisor.
It is Mr. Murin’s goal as an educator to provide each student with the ability to reach their academic potential in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. It is his role as a teacher of mathematics to demonstrate the importance and interconnectedness of mathematics. Currently, Mr. Murin teaches Algebra Two/Trig Honors.
Mr. Murin is entering his twenty-first season as the head coach for the Boys and Girls Varsity Swim Teams.
