Mrs. Basaman is a Boston College graduate, Class of 2002, where she earned a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Mathematics. She began her teaching career with Teach for America and taught science at Eastside High School in Paterson, NJ. She then taught math for 5 years at South Amboy High School. Mrs. Basaman has been teaching math at Manasquan since 2008. Her current teaching assignments are Geometry, Statistics, and AP Statistics. Mrs. Basaman is also the advisor for the Key Club and Squan-a-Thon.
