Phone number: Extension 1851 Education: Mr. Schaad earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from The College of New Jersey and possesses a NJ Health and Physical Education Teacher Certicate and a NJ Elementary Teacher Certificate. Additionally, Mr. Schaad earned a post master's degree in Educational Leadership from Georgian Court University and possesses NJ Supervisor, Principal, and Superintendent Certificates.Experience: Mr. Schaad taught Health and Physical Education in Grades 5-8 at the Hillside Public School District from 1996 to 2012000. Further, He taught Physical Education at the Manasquan Elementary School from 2001 to 2018. Currently he is teaching Health I, III, IV and Physical Education I,II,III,IV at Manasquan High School.Physical Education Philosophy
The purpose of the Physical Education program at Manasquan High School is to enable all students to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. This growth is promoted with the understanding that all children are individuals whose needs and interests must be addressed. A dedicated staff of physical education teachers will provide educational opportunities to fulfill the needs of each child in a safe environment conducive to learning.
Manasquan Elementary School’s physical education program provides its’ students with a diversified curriculum, which embodies the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. This curriculum is aligned with national and state curriculum standards. These offerings are designed to prepare all students to healthfully meet future challenges.
