    Architecture and Construction

Grades 9, 10, 11, 12. This course is designed for students who are interested in architectural design and learning 2-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. This course focuses on the development of a residential plan. Students will produce a complete set of architectural drawings that will include floor plans, window and door schedules, section views, elevations, and more.

    Introduction to Engineering and Design

Grades 9, 10, 11, 12. This course is designed for students who are interested in engineering, the design process, and 3-D solid modeling using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. This course emphasizes the application of the engineering  design method to invent solutions to real-world engineering problems. Working both individually and in small groups, students will learn problem-solving and design skills through a variety of hands-on activities.

    Introduction to Engineering Robotics

Grades 10, 11, 12. This hands-on course is designed to introduce students to the basics of engineering through the use of robotics. Robotics provide a rich platform for integrating electronics, mechanics, and programming. In this course, students will be learning and applying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) principles to creatively solve authentic problems. Students enrolling in this course should have successfully completed at least one semester of both science and mathematics.
