Manasquan High School believes that both print and non-print resources are a vital part of the research process. Therefore, the Media Center maintains:
- Over 4,000 print resources > Search our MHS Library Catalog
- Over 170 million electronic resources > Search our Digital Research Resources
These resources may be borrowed by both students and staff.
Print resources are available for checkout during school hours and 30 minutes before and after school. Our online library catalog may be searched 24 hours a day/7 days a week from our Media Center’s homepage; click on the link to our MHS Library Catalog, "Destiny"
Electronic resources are easily accessed by using the Virtual Library resources displayed on our Digital Research Resources Page. These are available to all students and teachers using an internet-connected device and their school network login & password. This access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We recommend you access these electronic resources directly from the MHS Media Center’s webpage to streamline your IP recognition and access.
Circulation guidelines are in place to provide equal access to these resources for all students:
- Students may have up to 5 print books checked out at any time.
- Students may have an additional 5 electronic resources within MackinVIA checked out at a time.
- Students may not borrow additional materials until all overdue books or outstanding fines (over $5 due) are cleared from on their accounts.
- Students are responsible for all items that have been checked out on their accounts.
