    Welcome to Foundations of Art!

     

     

                                                                                                                              

    Foundations of Art is designed to offer the student frequent opportunities to work with many art mediums.  The course will include sketching, composition, 2D and 3D design, drawing, printmaking, painting, clay and art appreciation.  Exposure to various art mediums will enable the student to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of art, to develop basic skills in art, to understand the visual language of art, and to appreciate and understand how art history has played a major role in the development of art styles.
