The purpose of the Chess Club is for students to enjoy the game of chess. Beginners can learn the game, others can continue to sharpen their skills. For those who like to compete, MHS is part of the Shore Chess League. We compete against other high schools in the shore conference. Check it out, all are welcome.

The Innovation Lab (iLab) is MHS’s makerspace. Develop your own inventions for competitions or just explore the world of emerging technologies! All interested MHS students are invited to use these new technologies in projects both large and small.

Mock Trial Club is designed for those students who have an interest in trials, debating or pursuing a career in law.
Model U.N. Club
Prepare draft resolutions, plot strategy, negotiate with other countries, resolve conflicts, and abide by the U.N.’s rules of procedure.
N.J. Science League
Statewide tests are given in Biology, Chemistry and Physics for students who have been selected by teachers as outstanding science students.

Ping Pong Club
A smashing group of pupils who compete in the stimulating sport of table tennis.
Both gamers and non-gamers are invited to join our SquanHS Esports Team and compete in Garden State Esports League (GSE) competitions. We need both "Gamers" and "Student Production Team” members. Varsity Letters are available for both Players and Production Team Leaders.

The Treasure Chest
The Treasure Chest is the school yearbook, production begins the previous spring (April) and extends through the summer and into the school year.
Volleyball club is open to all high school students who are interested. It is a fall sport and we meet two to three days a week. In order to be on the team you must have a physical cleared through the nurse and athletic director. Any questions please contact Mrs. McHugh
