Art Appreciation could be considered a crash course in Art History. In the short time (22/23 days) we have in this class, students will learn to use the Visual Vocabulary of Art, and we will touch on various movements in Art History. The art movements that will be covered will be Prehistoric Art, Greek Vase Painting, The Renaissance, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Expressionism, Abstract Expressionism, Surrealism and Pop Art.
