Introducing Red Rover for Accepting Substitute Jobs in the 2025-26 School Year
Beginning this coming school year, Manasquan is moving to a new substitute placement platform called Red Rover. This has replaced Frontline (formerly Aesop) for us.
While there will likely not be many substitute jobs available until the school year starts, please set up our Red Rover account now so it will be ready for the school year.
We are confident that Red Rover will be an easier and more convenient system. Notably, Red Rover will no longer use phone calls and instead communicate with substitutes via their website, text messages, or through their easy-to-use app.
On Friday, July 25, you will receive an email from Red Rover directly. This email is your “account setup invitation”. Do NOT ignore this email. The email notification will look like the image below.
Once you receive the email, please click on the “Setup Password” button at the bottom of the email. In the browser window that opens, create and confirm a password of your choosing. Bookmark the URL app.redroverk12.com for easy access in the future.
Upon logging in, click on the blue banner post at the top titled “Red Rover Training for Substitutes.” Watch the Basic Training Video to get a high-level view of the system and how to use it.
Below the video, complete the “To Do” list, and review the linked help articles. You can also check out the Red Rover Help Center to learn more about the system on your own.
We recommend you download the free Red Rover Mobile App for Android and iOS (Apple). Go to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store from your smartphone, and search “Red Rover K12” and download. Use the same login credentials you configured above to access the app.
As always, if you need assistance or have any questions, please contact us at HR@manasquan.k12.nj.us or by phone at 732-528-8800, Ext. 1900.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we transition to this new system. We are confident it will be a positive change for our staff and our substitutes.
