Dear Manasquan School District Parents and Guardians, 

I am delighted to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Director of Special Education! I am thrilled to be joining such a dedicated staff and community that makes Manasquan Schools a great place for students to learn and grow. 

Allow me to share a bit about myself. My name is Cindy Cimino and I bring with me 23 years of experience in education, with a strong passion for academic excellence, personal growth, and a safe and inclusive learning environment. 

My educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Education in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education from Syracuse University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Jersey City University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in various educational roles, including as a special education teacher, a building administrator, and most recently Assistant Director of Special Education in Manalapan Englishtown Regional Schools for the past 13 years. Each of these experiences has provided me with valuable insights into the diverse needs of students, parents, and educators. 

At Manasquan, my goal is to build upon and continue the existing culture of excellence and achievement, and to work collaboratively with our exceptional staff to provide an enriching educational experience for our students. I believe in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that celebrates student success in all areas, promotes positive citizenship, and values the unique talents and contributions of every individual. 

I firmly believe that open communication and collaboration are essential to student success, and I encourage parents and guardians to actively engage in their child’s education and participate in the vibrant school community at Manasquan. My goal is to continue to provide a supportive environment that will enable our students and staff to succeed. My belief is that strong relationships are the key to that success and will be my highest priority as I begin my new role.
