Who is eligible to vote?
Registered voters in the Borough of Manasquan can vote in the special/school election on January 24. You can confirm your voter registration status here.
What are the polling hours for in-person voting?
Polls will be open from 12:00pm - 8:00pm on January 24 for in-person voting.
Where do I vote?
Voters vote at the same polling locations they do during other normal elections. In Manasquan, this is in one of four districts at two polling locations:
- Districts 1 & 4: Manasquan Volunteer Engine #2, 111 Parker Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736
- Districts 2 & 3: St. Denis School, 119 Virginia Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736

Can I vote by mail?
Yes, like in any New Jersey elections, registered voters can vote by mail. To request the vote by mail ballot, complete this form and return it to the Monmouth County Clerk's Office. A voter may apply for a Mail-In Ballot by mail up to 7 days prior to the election. (Tuesday, January 17) He or she may also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3 P.M. the day before the election.
After you receive and complete your Vote-By-Mail Ballot:
- Return it in-person to the County Board of Elections before the close of polls on election day (8:00 P.M. January 24), OR,
- Return it by mail with a postmark no later than election day (January 24) and it must be received by the County Board of Elections no later than 144 hours (6 days) after the time for the closing of the polls of the election.
If I'm not already registered to vote, can I register now?
Residents of Manasquan Borough may register to vote up to 21 days prior to the election. Therefore, the deadline to register to vote is Monday, January 2.
