ART CLUB APRIL 19TH. NEW PROJECT, CLAY BELLS, a GREAT GIFT FOR MOTHER'S DAY or FOR YOURSELF. This project should take three meetings, this will be the last project for art club this year.
Art show is June 5th, help is needed to set up. All 6th-8th graders are welcome to help hang the show!

The art club is open to all students grades 6th thought 8th . Meetings are held on THURSDAY, 3:10pm, in the art studio; most meetings end at 4pm but there are exceptions depending on the specific project.
Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun! The rule is: if start a project you must come to all of the meetings to complete the project ! Plan ahead so we don't waste supplies.

The role of the artist is predicted to become even more important during the next ten years as our world develops an international language perhaps based on "Wing Dings". It is reported from various sources that students are losing their ability to be creative...hey, maybe you should join the art club.
Our first meeting we drew interior and exterior views of MES. These drawing will be displayed (school entrance by the office) during confrences and though mid December; look for these drawings in this year's issues of the "Noon Whistle".
Jenn, a junior at COMMUNICATIONS HIGH, who volunteers as an assitant with the art club, is an inspiration to us all with her great ideas and creativty. Andrew, a sophmore at MANASQUAN HIGH SCHOOL, volunteers as an assistant. His practical approach, clever ideas and sense of humor is an asset to the club.
